We are Heavy But We can Run.
The Journey, Where every provided step counts, not the weight.
Hello Friends!
Running ignites my spirit! In running, there are no invasions; I am not a visitor in my own body, there’s no external interference, and to me there is something liberating about tying the shoelaces of my sneakers and starting to jog. Where previously this author found himself laboring to run as an overweight man, he now finds himself on a journey of power, perseverance, and identity.
With each step, I don’t forget how I felt trapped by the pounds, and now I want the same for other people who are getting stuck as well. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced runner, I am here to offer advice for the beginner, encouragement for the less interested, and motivation for the pro.

“This blog let me get close to running, and to this sport, in a way I could not imagine before. So yeah, it’s not only the journey, the process, but the change, the profound change that occurred in me, while being here. It should become a mandatory reading for anyone interested in starting or simply improving their running journey.”
